Opportunities
1st ever national social prescribing link worker day 8th July 2019
Opportunity to showcase the contribution of social prescribing link workers in improving population health and wellbeing. If you would like us to showcase your project on link worker day, you have until 3rd June 2019 to send us your written narrative or video.

The 1st ever national social prescribing link worker success conference is also set to take place on the same day in London. Massive thanks to the conference sponsors and supporters

Who wants to be a regional social prescribing learning coordinator?
We strongly encourage existing social prescribing link workers/managers (experts by experience) to apply.
NHS England/NHS Improvement and Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) partners are seeking expressions of interest for Regional Learning Coordinator associates in each NHS region (London, South East, South West, North East and Yorkshire, North West, East, and Midlands).

    Tech and social prescribing
    The RCGP is holding a workshop on 5th June with GPs and link workers on social prescribing and the role of technology

    A new FREE support offer for health, care and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector leaders has been launched to provide practical help with developing the relationships needed to transform health and care systems.

    NAPC Diploma in Advanced Primary Care Management

    This is a one-year diploma to develop the skills and competencies for managing primary care at scale within the NHS. Develop the expertise to lead the transformation of primary care for primary care networks as set out in the NHS Long Term Plan and new GP contract.

    London South Bank University Systems Change: Collaborative Communities PGCert

    A part-time one year course which aims to equip people involved in health and social care, including citizens, professionals, community leaders from across the community and health and social care sectors, with the knowledge and skills to lead complex collaborative change where the responsibilities for maintaining and recovering health (coproduction) are shared between institutions, professionals, communities and citizens.
