Celebrating #LinkWorkerDay19 & Conference Success
1st Ever National Social Prescribing Link Worker Day and Conference was an incredible success. #LinkWorkerDay19 was trending 24 in the United Kingdom on the day and had over 1.6million reach. Thanks to our speakers, everyone that showcased, participated, contributed, sponsored, supported, tweeted,  attended and live streamed the conference.


Your verifiable Certificate of Attendance: you should have received your attendance certificate via email (those that attended in person). If you haven't received yours, please get in touch with us.

Conference materials: Video recording, presentations and superb collective wisdom and intelligence harvested at the conference are available in the members resource library. Non-members who paid for access, should have received email containing the materials.

Opportunities

Members are invited to book to attend one regional event. The registration link with venue details can be found in your members resource library, under networking opportunities. You need to log in to access the members resource library. Please see screen shot for example on how to book

We have limited venue capacity, spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis. Please only book if you will definitely attend.

Member spotlight opportunity: do you have good practice for your social prescribing programme based within our CoP regional event, which is ongoing and over a year old? Get in touch with us to express interest in spotlight opportunity by 21st August 2019. We have 4 spotlight opportunity per region and cant guarantee everyone who expressed interest will get a spot.

Our comprehensive social prescribing link worker support offer is for organisations and primary care networks who wish to reduce costs as a result of high staff turn over and increase successful social prescribing programme (key performance indicators) KPIs. Peer group clinical supervision
Facilitated small group monthly sessions. A safe space for link workers to reflect on their practice, offload, learn from each other - exchange ideas and share experiences, feel supported and connected to a wider community.

Here is what a link worker said "The supervision session is so useful and important, it helps me reflect on my practice in a safe and supported environment, i have been able to improve my practice as a result"

Advancing our health: prevention in the 2020s

Department of Health and Social Care are seeking views on proposals to tackle the causes of preventable ill health in England.

2020 GSK IMPACT Awards are now open for applications

The GSK IMPACT Awards provide funding, training and development for charities doing excellent work to improve people's health and wellbeing. They are funded by GSK and managed in partnership with The King's Fund. The awards are open to registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, with a total annual income of between £80,000 and £2.5 million
